Cruise Ships in Curacao

As we bid a fond farewell to the last of the cruise ships for this season, Curacao once again becomes a sleepy little island, and gears up for the hurricane season ahead!

Curacao is a busy one day port of call for many of the Caribbean cruise ships, in some cases up to three or four ships a day.  From my great vantage point on the verandah of  The Gouverneur, I marvel at the goings on, the hustle and bustle as passengers depart and return from their day excursions.  Then the emotional farewell as the ships make their way back to the open sea.
